    The team of Classic Imaging Modalities is proud of its long-term contract research and development of specialised algorithms and methods of medical image data from computed tomography analysis with the company Philips Healthcare.     There is a cooperation in the area of advanced methods for diagnosis of glaucoma between the team of Imaging in Ophthalmology and the team of Friedrich-Alexander-University. It is mainly focused on a development of a binocular video – ophthalmoscope, on a methodology of retinal video sequence processing and on extraction of new diagnostic parameters.

    University of Bergen is a partner in development and method testing for quantitative UZV perfusion analysis with a goal to develop and use clinically the bolus & burst method at Diagnostic Department of the local hospital.

    A developing cooperation of teams Imaging of Images in Microscopy with Center for Systems Biology focuses on a design and a development of methods for microscopic sequences image analysis, specifically on segmentation and cell tracking.

    This institution is a long-term partner of a team specialised on sequencing of the bacterial transcriptome. Together, they focus on a research and a description of actions connected mainly with a production of butanol using the strain Clostridium beijerinckii NRRL B-598.

    Our department successfully cooperates with departments of Masaryk University on long-term bases. The team of Image processing in Microscopy cooperates with Biological Institute in the area of holographic microscope image analysis focused on tumor cells, cell death analysis or a cell cycle

    The team of Classic Imaging Modalities and CEITEC cooperate in systematic use of methods for processing and analysis of image data coming from X-ray Computed Tomography (μCT) practical for spatial analysis of the structure of porous collagen carriers – scaffolds.

    The team Genome compilation and digital signal processing develops for this center new methods of genetic data analysis for more exact description of the emergence and spread of bacterial antibiotic resistance and genotypization of new bacterial strains.
