Medical Devices & Biosensors Laboratory

The laboratory is focused on biological signals scanning, processing and analysing as well as on bioelectric effects researching. The rich acquisition units instrumentary enables many biosignals scanning, namely EEG, EMG, EOG, GSR, EGG, lung functions, reaction time and many more.

Facilities comprise an EEG system TruScan 32 and a portable EMG machine which allows long term scanning of EEG and EMG records with high sampling frequency. The training station Biopac enables acquisition and processing of biological signals and is one of the next laboratory facilities.

The laboratory offers to students of biological subjects a rich study tool for biological and physiological body functions studying. A modular realisation of periphery acquisition units motivates to design attractive diploma and bachelor thesis and students projects that’s why the lab is used for experimental studies and researches all at the same time.
